Could it be Dengue?

Someone tell me the symptoms of Dengue because maybe that is what I have or maybe some version of it. I had tylenol with a sedative in it so that last night I could sleep through. I did wake up quite a bit but it wasn't as bad as the night before. In the morning I didn't notice I had been sweating through the night and still had a fever. It was not as bad as the night before though. So, maybe things are on the rise.

I was just thinking that I am going to be missing Thanksgiving dinner and am hoping that I can get a late one when I get back. Anyone want to host a second dinner when I get back?? I'm thinking turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, hot buns, veggies.... oh man.... Maybe the dining hall will have thanksgiving food in the western section this weekend. I doubt it though.

More and more people are dropping with Delhi Belly but no one seems to have what I have. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Regardless, I don't remember the last time I was ever this sick or even the last time I had a fever!! Not the best time to get sick but hopefully I will get through it, at least enough for the Wales game coming up tomorrow.

The men are playing today against England who are a really good side (ranked around 4th place I think?) so that should be a good game. They are playing in the stadium so it will be broadcast like all the games on CBC live streaming or on CBC Bold. Our game should also be online or on CBC Bold tomorrow!!

Stay tuned....

  1. Awww:( hang in there Ali

I've been watching the games on cbc.ca ( you can actually watch them at anytime, they have the full games with commentary). It was funny because the commentators pointed out that 12 of you are from B.C and then said that 'Victoria Island' was included in B.C, lol.

You guys had some good chances against England. Too bad you couldn't hang on. You had them worried though I think after the 1st half.

Take Care - we are all cheering you on :)
