I was excited to see a field hockey person joining Women Talk Sports. I agree with your assessment that success for a country's national program starts at the grass roots level. I'm retired from coaching and have taken up writing. My first two books deal with a young field hockey player and her high school team. You can check them out on amazon.com among other sites. They were fun to write and keep me connected with a sport I have so thoroughly enjoyed.
