We had a rest day today but it still felt a little jam packed with activity. We woke up and headed to breakfast only to realize we were the last team to eat and there was very little selection in breakfast. Needless to say we planned a grocery run for later in the day so that we could get some necessary items to eat for breakfast on game days. We went to our practice at 11am today and we were supposed to share a court with the Argies but their bus never picked them up so we had the whole floor. I minimized practice time to rest my shoulder because it's still really achy and it's not getting any better.
Following practice we rushed back to the hotel for showers and lunch and rushed back on to our bus to head back to watch the men play! They beat Guyana 11-3 and one of their players scored 6 goals. It was nice to see some goals and cheer on the men. They have some tougher competition coming up.
We stopped at the grocery store and got some of our comfort foods and so far have just been having some meetings and getting through all our physio and therapy treatments!
So far, things are going well and we take on T&T tomorrow. They were unsuccessful against Uruguay but we will still not take them lightly. It's important to do the work!
