It has been a busy few days here in Vienna so far. The team has been busy with practices and weight room sessions while I have been busy setting up the hotel with wireless Internet for the team and also figuring out the strategies for our video taping plans. I won't divulge all the information on here but it has been really amazing working with new MacBook Pros and fancy toys. We have been piloting this project since we were in Chile and finally we think we have the best solution to transferring information FAST and easily. Now, the big test is how it will work in game day and all the associated troubleshooting due to time constraints.
We are staying at a really nice hotel, the Courtside Marriott, near a gorgeous horse track and random parks with camels hanging out. I was pretty excited about the camel spotting because I have never seen a two-humped camel in real life before. Who would have thought it would happen in Austria! On the way to the fied the field there is a gorgeous park that we walk through and everything so far seems so beautiful, green and peaceful. It reminds me of home and is very comforting.
Tomorrow is the start of the tournament and I will be up in the tower filming ALL day so it should be an interesting one. I have to film all four games of the day and hope the sun is out because I don't know how much clothing I can pack over there! Hopefully the field pele also set up the wireless Internet because I can then do my email and blogging from the sidelines.
That's all for now!
